The 2026 Pooch Playoffs: A Dog Photography Contest in Kootenai County 🐾

Word on the street is your dog is pretty cute… and the pupparazzi are officially watching.

Best Life Photography is excited to launch the 2026 Pooch Playoffs, a fun and community-focused dog photography contest in Kootenai County benefiting Companions Animal Center. This playful competition combines professional pet portraits, friendly online voting, and support for local animals in need.

If you love your dog (and let’s be honest—you do), this is your moment.

What Are the Pooch Playoffs?

The Pooch Playoffs are part professional dog portrait session, part online dog competition, and part fundraiser for Companions Animal Center.

For a $99 donation/entry fee, donated directly to Companions Animal Center, your pup will receive:

*A professional dog photography session with Best Life Photography

*Entry into a bracket-style online voting competition

*A chance to win fun prizes from local pet businesses

Each week, dogs will be matched head-to-head, and the community will vote to decide who advances. One pup at a time, we’ll work our way toward crowning the ultimate winner…

🏆 The Ulti-Mutt Cutie of 2026

Every Pawticipant Gets Treats 🐶

This dog contest isn’t just about winning—it’s about celebrating dogs and creating keepsakes you’ll love forever.

Every participating pup will receive:

A custom acrylic keychain featuring a photo from their portrait session

A WAG bag filled with goodies from local pet-friendly businesses

And of course, you’ll walk away with professional pet portraits that capture your dog’s personality perfectly.

Supporting Companions Animal Center

The Pooch Playoffs dog photography contest proudly supports Companions Animal Center, a local organization dedicated to caring for and rehoming animals in our community.

By entering your dog, you’re not just showing off their cuteness—you’re directly helping other dogs and cats receive care, shelter, and a second chance at a forever home.

Cue the happy tail wags. 🐾
